How much does it cost to bring you to speak for our event?

I speak to youth out of a desire to change lives, not to make money. I am trusting that God will provide financially. All I do ask is that you handle any transportation costs, and that you prayerfully consider any other financial gifts. I have spent a number of years in my youth ministry career at small churches with little or no budget, so I understand the financial constraints that often occur in ministry. Contact me and we can work out a way to work within your budget.
If you are wanting to bring me in for a REAL WORLD PARENT seminar, that does cost a minimum of $500. The $500 is a requirement of RWP to cover materials for up to 50 attending parents plus followup items. You can chose to charge for the event, or cover it within your budget. That is up to you. Contact me so we can talk about it more.

Why should we bring you in?

There are many brilliant youth speakers out there. I don’t consider myself better than any of these great guys and gals. I am simply honoring God by using my gift to help teens, which is my passion in life. I give a simple message that is nevertheless entertaining, and challenging. But, I think that because of the life experiences I’ve had I can relate to many of your teens. I grew up in the church, but spent time running from God and His calling on my life. I’ve been the nerd, the jock, the studious kid, the band geek, and all things in between. I’ve lived in the inner city, the suburbs, and the country. So I can speak, from experience, to what many of your teens are dealing with.

What kind of events do you speak for?

I will come for any event as long as I can fit it into my schedule. Whether you are looking for a retreat speaker, a special event, Upward celebration, or even adult activities, I am willing to work with you to help you out.

How far are you willing to travel?

I am willing to go anywhere to speak to teens. I am located in Ohio, so anything within driving distance would be fairly easy to accommodate. But I will be willing to work out the details with you if you are farther away. I will go anywhere to share the gospel.

What is your theology?

I preach the Bible. If it is in there, I preach it. But, my focus is always on Jesus and making sure students KNOW Him, not just know about him, or know how to be good people, or be good church attenders. I know that there are many differing theologies and I will be sensitive to that if possible. If you have a specific theological concern you can of course discuss it with me, but I, like Paul, “resolve to know nothing but Christ and Him crucified.”

Will you have any video or audio online?

The answer is a definite “Maybe Eventually!” I love audio and video, and plan on incorporating some into the blog as well as posting up some of my talks, but there is no timetable on that as of now.
