Today is quite a special day for youth ministers. You might not be aware of it, but its Simplyhog day. If Josh Griffin sees his shadow, then there is only 6 weeks until SYMC.

6 more weeks until the Simply Youth Ministry Conference in Chicago. Are you going? Are you excited? I am registered, got my roommates lined up, got the hotel booked, and am ready to go. After attending the 3 years previous I had to miss last year and hated it. Thankfully I got to watch some content streaming online (as well as participate in the “live podcast”) but it only intensified the desire to be there.

If you’ve never been to the Simply Youth Ministry Conference, you need to go. It’s a gather of 2500 youth workers from across the country. Its more than training (though there is a lot of that), it’s a time of refreshing, worship, and community. Some of the best parts are just sitting on the huge sack chairs with your newest ministry friend and connecting.
