Next Week’s Theme – Helping Hurting Youth Ministers
Every now and then, I do a “Theme Week” where most (if not all) of my posts revolve around one central theme. Next week, I am going to address hurting youth ministers, and offer a hand of help to them.
I have been in ministry for quite a while, and not only have I seen all sorts of ministers who have been hurt very badly by the church, I’ve also been burned pretty badly myself. I will probably share my story sometime this week. What I’ve seen though is that churches can be absolutely brutal to ministers, especially youth ministers. I want to help with the healing just a little bit.
